Message: My dad, Arthur Groom worked at WYF for many years and sadly died in the early 70's - a few short years after his retirement.

He lived and breathed that place and I understand was the man that gave the first Asian a job there. A chap called Bhadra used to call to our home every Christmas with a nylon shirt for my dad and nylon stockings for my mum.

I would be interested to have contact with anyone that knew Arthur or my brothers Kenneth Groom and Ivan Groom who also worked at WYF.
